“Live as if you were to die tomorrow. Learn as if you were to live forever.”
Mahatma Gandhi.
My child had a fantastic, fun time at the recent Asha Stanford Annual Holi, he calls it the color festival. Asha for education a non-profit organization is doing a great job of bringing hope through education, in India. Please take a look at their website. I like their support a child project. Support A child program efforts help sponsor the costs for health, living and educational costs for individual children.
It was a fun day for a wonderful cause and a nice way for my child to learn about India.
“You educate a man; you educate a man. You educate a woman; you educate a generation.”-Brigham Young.
Looks like a great day.
Yes. It was.
When I was in college (in a small village in Ohio), a few of the Indian students on campus put together a small Holi festival on one of the fields. I couldn’t make it, but I wish I had. So many of my friends came back completely covered in colored paint! It looked like so much fun.
Yes it is a lot of fun. Bring me back beautiful memories of my home town in India 🙂
What a great way to have fun and educate the family! 🙂
Thank you.
